about the author
John Palermo
The author John Palermo takes you through his
true story of how he grew up and raised around
the most historical and powerful gangsters of the
Italian mafia in Chicago. At the age of 12 years
old started his mafia career unheard of in the 70s.
John’s mafia career happened by chance not by
choice. At an early age he always figured
somehow he would have a chance in life in the
mafia; he never knew it would happen so soon in
life. John was fortunate in the life of crime to have
the best of the best to train and educate him in the
tricks of the trade through his criminal career.
My
family mob crew the Spilotro’s at the time a very
powerful mob crew through the Chicago outfit. A
family relation Tony Accardo the top boss for
decades in the Chicago outfit. My stepfather
Anthony Centracchio himself became a top boss
in the Chicago outfit and one of my favorite part of
my stepfathers crew, Steve Garcia, considered
one of the best thief in the Chicago outfit. You
think as a young boy I would be bragging that my
family is full of gangsters.

about our book
ALL MOBBED UP
My autobiography consists of 2 books. My first
book “ALL MOBBED UP GROWING UP MAFIA”
Is an introduction about me, like who I’m related
to and what crew my family belongs to. My
second book “ALL MOBBED UP GROWING UP
MAFIA MY LAST ACT” Is an action packed book.
From a young boy to a young man having to
navigate himself through the dark and seedy
world of the Italian mafia in Chicago.
As a 12 year
old I was ordered not to take part in any mafia
business by a mob boss especially at 12 years old
hands off I was told of course that same boy didn’t
listen. Now I had to be extra careful not to be
caught by the authorities and more importantly by
other gangsters. My mob career started out by
chance not by choice.
