John Palermo
At an early age he always figured somehow he would have a chance in life in the mafia; he never knew it would happen so soon in life. John was fortunate in the life of crime to have the best of the best to train and educate him in the tricks of the trade through his criminal career. My family mob crew the Spilotro’s at the time a very powerful mob crew through the Chicago outfit.
A family relation Tony Accardo the top boss for decades in the Chicago outfit. My stepfather Anthony Centracchio himself became a top boss in the Chicago outfit and one of my favorite part of my stepfathers crew, Steve Garcia, considered one of the best thief in the Chicago outfit. You think as a young boy I would family is full of gangsters. It was different for me. I thought that talk about the mafia was a very embarrassing conversation. It took me many of years before I ever spoke of the mafia and me to any of my friends. One day I confided in one of my friends about my mafia family and he came back to me and said your ALL MOBBED UP and I said yep GROWING UP MAFIA. And that’s how I came up with the title of my book.
